The mission of the Richfield United Methodist Church Military Ministry is to identify and lead programs providing support for military veterans, active duty military personnel and their families and their reintegration into the community upon discharge. To foster their continued connection to the church and to educate and engage the church congregation in this mission. Anyone interested in this ministry is encouraged to participate.
CELL PHONES FOR SOLDIERS sells your donated phones to a recycler and buys prepaid phone calling cards with the money. The cards are distributed FREE to our military personnel overseas. Each donated phone provides about an hour of talk time for a soldiers calling home. To donate your old cell phones simply drop them in the Red White and Blue collection box in church commons.
