Richfield UMC Foundation

Sustaining-Impact Giving

Legacy gifts help build the sustaining bedrock of the church. The Foundation is a set of dedicated funds to help the church fuel specific ministries and expand the capacity of its overall mission in the world.

The Foundation Board distributes funds annually through the Legacy Fund – flexible funding that supports the big picture of expanding the mission of the church – and dedicated funds for specialty ministries including scholarships for music, arts, and social justice outreach.

The Richfield UMC Foundation is proud to be one of the largest investors in the Dakota-Minnesota Methodist Foundation. In turn, the DMMF manages its portfolio through Wespath Benefits and Investments, a nonprofit agency that has served the United Methodist Church for over 110 years. Named after the founder of the Methodist movement, John Wesley, Wespath is at the forefront of sustainable investments for its constituents and partners.

To make a gift to the Richfield UMC Foundation’s Legacy Fund immediately and/or as part of your legacy giving, please contact Kathy Gertsema, the Business and Administration Coordinator, today.
