From time to time, Richfield United Methodist Church and Caring for Children early learning center have open positions for great people looking to be part of a growing team and church on the move.

Caring for Children Positions Available:

Caring for Children is a non-profit, Christian childcare center, serving children six weeks to five years old. We are located inside of Richfield United Methodist Church, in South Minneapolis. The Infant classrooms are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment, where babies can explore and make new discoveries. 

Requirements:
– 24 college credits in early childhood along with 2 years’ experience, working in a licensed childcare center. Active Infant/Toddler CDA, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
– Meet DHS staff qualification and training requirements
– Foster relationships and communication with staff, children and families
– Attend staff meetings, events and training sessions
– Able to see, hear, think and move quickly to supervise children safely
– Able to lift and carry children ( maximum of 40 pounds)

 

Responsibilities:
– Provide high-quality care to children six weeks to sixteen months old
– Ability to collaborate with other teachers to implement the children’s daily schedules and lesson plan
– Ability to be flexible and a good role model, for children, other staff and parents
– Supervise classroom Aides
– Foster good communication and relationships with families, children and staff

Caring For Children Early Learning Center (CFC) is a nonprofit program of Richfield United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, MN. We serve families of ages six (6) weeks Infant care through five (5) years old in Pre-Kindergarten.
