NOW HIRING: Organist/Accompanist – Part-Time, Year-Round
Richfield United Methodist Church of Minneapolis, MN seeks a talented and collaborative musician to serve as a year-round Organist/Accompanist. The primary responsibilities are to select and provide excellent organ music for Sunday morning worship and occasional special services and accompany the Chancel Choir for Wednesday evening rehearsals and Sunday worship. The music staff work to ensure there is appropriate musical leadership for all worship services. Organ/choir are typically in worship 3 Sundays/month. Richfield UMC is a progressive and reconciling congregation with a strong sense of social justice outreach and love of a variety of music. The primary instruments are a 1974-2011 1,982-pipe, 34-rank Reuter Opus 1881 organ and a Wm. Knable & Co. grand piano.

Caring for Children Positions Available:
NOW HIRING: Early Childhood Toddler Teacher – Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Position Duties:
– Contribute to child learning, growth and advancement.
– Displays a passion for developing toddler appropriate educational activities and practice.
– Maintains a positive mindset towards child learning and social-emotional development.
– Facilitates problem-solving.
– Serves as a role-model to child learners.
– Invests in the students’ well-being, health and safety.
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm.
Compensation:
Hourly wage: starts at $19-20, plus benefits package (health insurance, dental insurance, PTO, professional development assistance, retirement plan)
Qualifications:
– Knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for toddler-aged children.
– Desire to work with children with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational and developmental goals.
– Familiarity with multiple toddler learning areas.
– Associates degree preferred
– CPR Certification preferred
– Child Development Associate Certification preferred
Education, Experience Requirements:
– Must meet DHS Rule #3 guidelines.
– Demonstrated knowledge of current instructional strategies.
We are following all MDH recommendation for Child Care Centers. COVID 19 vaccination is required.
